- What technology will I need for face-to-face online sessions? – You can use Youtube via your computer, phone or tablet. You will be provided with a meeting LNIK for your session so that you can log in. Any changes or updates in meeting software will be made available here.
- How successful is Your Career Hero? – Your Career Hero has helped rescue resumes, secure interviews, maintain/retain /regain employment for many people. Also, check the feedback tab (feedback is being updated regularly).
- Will my personal information be safe if I pay you online? – Your Career Hero accepts payments through PayPal in the “store” tab above. Paypal is a service that enables you to pay, send money, and accept payments. PayPal uses data encryption and anti-fraud technology to keep your information secure, reducing the risk of online fraud.
- So Your Career Hero doesn’t “find jobs” for people? – No. The intent of the Job Search Momentum service is to lead you in the right direction, give you the skills and confidence to discover and claim work on your own. It’s kind of like the old quote “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” During the Job Search Momentum service, we will find good job leads and/or develop a customer-specific wisdom about how and where to find and create job opportunities.
- How is Your Career Hero different from a ‘Head Hunter’/Job Placement service? – Your Career Hero exists to help you have the best possible chance of finding, securing and keeping employment by addressing problem areas in your resumes, applications, interviewing, work-related communication, etc. Your Career Hero can even help with some problem areas such as adjusting to work culture, dealing with social tension and confusion in the workplace, and good ol’ fashioned venting!
- Does Your Career Hero design resumes from scratch for customers? – Not now. It is important for you to be as INvolved as possible in the experience. Submit your resume so that we can help you reach your potential TOGETHER.
- When will Your Career Hero start offering resume design from scratch? – As soon as possible. The priority is to help you overcome and advance beyond whatever and whomever is slowing you down. Your Career Hero is here to identify what, if anything, is “backfiring” against you, so that you can improve and succeed. Providing a resume, even if you JUST made it, establishes a starting point for progress.
